Lara Gut is a Swiss alpine skier who competes in the World Cup. She is a three-time overall World Cup champion, eight-time world champ, and has represented Switzerland at four Winter Olympic Games. Born in 1991, Lara started skiing as a child and quickly developed her skills, bursting on to the World Cup Skiing scene in 2008 when she was only 16 years old. Since then, she has won multiple titles in alpine skiing including two gold medals at the 2016 Alpine World Ski Championships for the Super-G and Combined events.
